maybe someday i won't be so upset over what i'm inadvertently destroying.

colored pencil, pastel, water-based brush marker over ball point pen. the pastels were especially difficult to color with in certain parts... so be kind, please.

I really, really like this one. Pastels have such a wonderful texture to them, and I think that the use of that and the other media here gives it a really amazing feel. Her anatomy is great, I love the shape of her torso. And the hatching that you put in. And her hair, and that shin/calf. And the drapery is lovely. I like the combinations of color you used on it. And I like that the background has so much detail and form, but it's still vague.

Holy hell this is so beautiful. The foliage looks so organic and real... I can't use pastels at all so this is really really impressive to me. All the details you put into this piece are so well thought out and make the overall picture amazing.
