I get the whole nature vs. human vs. pollution feel when checking this out. You did a great job using what I like to call "gloomy" colors a.k.a cool colors when painting this.

Even though the greens were intended to be for the nature effects, it also kinda gives it a "toxic" effect too :)

I must say, the title fits. The dead bird is freaking me out a little, but so does pollution itself. Nice shading, by the way. I like the background too.
